Staff are experts and helpful. Excellent items in stock and pricing. Decks is supposed to permanently close in late August or early September 2023. This is a big loss to the community as Decks brings people to Ambler where they then do additional shopping. I've been going to Decks since about 1960 and will miss being able to get the items that only they have.

I called for information on screening. The gentleman was very annoyed with me for not knowing exactly what I needed. I used to think that’s what was special about this store. Not only did he not help me, he hung up on me before I could tell him I had the info he told me to go get. I called back and told the next guy about my experience and he doubled down on the rudeness and arrogance. It breaks my heart, but cross them off my list of stores frequented.

Traveled back in time and enjoyed the experience. I've been to Deck's many times and usually found what I needed. The visits are always much faster than a big box store because a helpful staffer meets you at the registers and points you immediately in the right direction. They've also gone above & beyond for me in the past - for example, finding a replacement for a single screw/bolt/widget that cost pennies but they had in their bins of many things.

An amazing family-owned hardware store. It's one of my favorite places to visit. Whatever you need, the workers are all very knowledgeable and ready to assist you. Make Decks your first stop for your hardware needs.

If you love the old time hardware store with a friendly helpful old timer taking care of you, this is your place. He found for me everything I was looking for and actually thanked me for my business. I’ll be going back as soon as I get out to Ambler again. Might even go out of my way just to get some more of that wonderful nostalgia.

Great service, knowledgeable people, family hardware store, neighborhood corner stone business. I feel good shopping here. Ready to cut out big box stores to imbed my money on the community. So fun to look around because you always find something extra! I've got an old porch and have to take pictures of random hardware. I know they will be able to help me find the right stuff and think of a plan to repair it. Good guys!

Have stopped in for a variety of items in recent years and never leave disappointed. They were also able to accommodate custom cutting work for one project in particular. Great local store with knowledgeable employees.
